Public viewing of the government-designated significant intangible folk cultural asset, Ayakomai dance

“Ayakomai,” a significant intangible folk cultural asset, is being performed at its traditional location.


Designated as a significant intangible folk cultural asset by the national government in 1976, the Ayakomai dance is performed publicly every year on the second Sunday in September at the square in front of the Ayakomai museum.

Date            Sunday, September 9th, 2012

Time           12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (as planned)

 

Venue         The square in front of the Ayakomai museum, Onadani, 

                  Kashiwazaki City

Directions    30 minutes by car from the Kashiwazaki IC of the Hokuriku
