Sasagawa-nagare Coast Boat Ride
Sasagawa-nagare Coast Boat Ride is a scenic view running north from Murakami along the ocean via Route 345. View a wide array of sights including cliffs, outcroppings, and rock formations created by erosion from the deep waters of the Sea of Japan. Beaches are crowded during the summer time.

Irises in Ijimino Park
From the hills of Ijimino Park, one can see the Kaji River, the Iide Mountains, and the city of Shibata all in one view. Between mid-June and early July, one can see 300 varieties of 600,000 iris flowers in bloom.
