Japanese Ski Memorial Museum

Japanese Ski Memorial MuseumIn 1914 Austrian soldier Theodor von Lerch taught the first Japanese how to ski in Joetsu City. At this museum, historical documents and old ski equipment are on display, along with personal belongings of von Lerch.
